Re: Driving safety to Las Cruces, NM

We have been on I-10 from Kerrville to Las Cruces many times, I never ever went on yellow alert. You should be fine.

Re: Reasons to get a 1911 and which one?

We have a few handguns, most are good and some are great. My favorite carry gun is a Sig 365XL, my all time favorite gun to shoot is a 1911. My all time worst gun to field strip and clean is a 1911.

Re: .22 pistol choices

To engrave my suppressors I used a Dremel-like tool (actually a Proxxon with a flexible shaft) with a tiny diamond bit. I used a label maker for a character "stencil" and stuck that on the can and put the can in a drill press vise. Then I simply followed the characters on the label with the diamond ...

Re: .22 pistol choices

Sweet looking Ruger :thumbs2: . I have an M&P 22 made by Walther and it's completely reliable. After reading all of the horror stories I did a bunch of research and my top three choices were the Browning Buckmark, the Ruger and the M&P 22. My LGS didn't have a Buckmark, I really wanted to handle one...

Re: AR15 Build from 80% lower

I've completed a couple of 80% lowers using a Little Machine Shop vertical mill, very fun project and I've used the mill (and my lathe) to machine a couple of suppressors. I have a stamp for one more suppressor - need to get busy with that.

Re: P365 ms or S&W shield 2.0

I bought a Ruger LC9s a few years ago for a lighter weight carry gun, while test firing it before using as my EDC the magazine would literally fall out. At first I thought it was me but it wasn't.
