I have not camped on the beach since then, but I have wondered how to keep sand out of a pistol while keeping it fully functional.
Hmmm, I'd say the answer is "buy a Glock". Was this a trick question?
I've never owned a Glock. Is firing while full of grit the main selling point?

Jouquin was my friend, but he was wrong on this issue.

Chas.
I read 1/2 his autobiography before I had to send it back to the library. Excellent read. Will finish it someday. People are complicated, and often just wrong.

Re: Morman Bloodbath in Mexico

I heard or read that my GF was a Mexican POW. This was the time of Pancho Villa and Pershing. This was a short event, and we know what happened. That's a different subject. I do believe that killing at a distance is a whole new art. Snipers may be obsolete. No, snipers are obsolete. Your girlfriend...

Re: TX: Missing NH couple found buried on South Texas beach

We were tent camping on the beach in Port A a few years back. Could not see a person in either direction that night. Sheriff woke us up (dead of night, don't know the time) and asked if this guy she had handcuffed was with us? He said he was. He was not. I have not camped on the beach since then, bu...

Would this be related to the shooting in Greenville?
No. From the best I know, this involves a child, and an adult's oath (report) of an incident. I'm 99.9% confident this is a false report. Multiple lives have been messed up, and more will follow.

You need to consult an actual member of the state bar for this one. We can all arm-chair quarterback, but it will not mean much.
Yes. I'm sure that's been done, but it would be the difference between success and failure to choose the right one.

Re: Sheriff's office and civil rights

I have been stopped a few times, and in every one of those stops where I declined to answer incriminating questions, the officer has asked who my employer was. I stopped answering that question too, when the director of my department pulled me into his office with HR to "get my side of the story." ...

IANAL, however, having a reasonable amount of time in their company... If the arrest was " inflagrante delecto ", or "immediately in the act," and/or if the preponderance of available evidence is compelling, it would be a matter for redress on appeal, relating to biasing the jury pool, fair trial, ...

Sheriff's office and civil rights

Civil rights is a term that can cause you to roll your eyes, but please consider the following. If a sheriff arrests a person for a heinous crime on the basis of a complaint with no other evidence, and then makes a bragging post on social media without all the legally required "according to" and "al...

Re: Warning

This is a movie plot threat. Something that will not happen, but that gets people worked up.

This is an example of giving your enemies power over you by imbuing them with all the things you're scared of.

Re: FB & Google indexing firearm serials

To be fair, Google has been doing OCR in photos for a LONG time. Serial #s, etc. They blur out license plates, home addresses, stuff like that, because that was hot button way back. Other numbers, not so much. To be honest, Google is probably more aligned to China than the US. Maybe good news: they ...

Shame on the Rockets and NBA. The Rockets and NBA just made it crystal clear they value profits over democracy or freedom. They have sold out our nations values as not to offend authoritarian communists
All of this would be unnecessary if they would just remember "shut up and throw the ball."
