If he wasn't going to give you a ticket, why do you think he stopped you in the first place? Or do you really think the CHL changed his mind?
It could have been a pretext stop. I got pulled over late one night before I got my CHL. I was on an open highway doing a safe and reasonable speed that was ...

Re: Can A Landlord Do This?
Sue them. Call the NRA. Call your lawyer. Have your lawyer send them a letter on NRA stationary. From DC to Chicago, these unconstitutional pinko carpetbagger landlords are being told by our courts that they can't do this. A total ban on arms in your home is unconstitutional.

Re: Guns on campus bill faces another hurdle
I believe Wentworth is facing 2 particular opponents one says is a better shot that he is, the other "supports the Second Amendment "even on college campuses"
Has either of them pledged to support campus carry next year? That would make the primary decision easier, if the supreme court allows ...

Re: What do you do if you draw your weapon w/o having to sho

Re: Blind CHL applicant
I do know that there is at least one blind person in possession of an Arizona CWP. An instructor asked the concealed weapon office what to do and he was told to make reasonable accommodation per ADA. Ultimately it was decided that using a target that emitted sound was acceptable, and the guy passed ...

Re: Question About An Old Arrest And Eligibility
That works fine as long as DPS never finds out about it. The problem happens if DPS somehow find the arrest during their background check. It looks like it could be an automatic disqualification for not disclosing a material fact.Oldgringo wrote:OTOH, this may be a 15 year old sleeping dog better left lie?

Re: Kershaw Knives at Woot.com
Ok don't know much about knives.
What are the legalities of carrying a knife like this?
Obviously they won't let you on a plane with a knife like this, what about other places?
They're fine in most of Texas except prisons, court houses and San Antonio. I don't think they're actually illegal in ...
