Re: Restarting the Houston South Quadrant Meetup

This monthly breakfast was the one that started them all! I remember each one fondly, and hope we can restart them soon! I voted for Saturday. I hope we can resume. It would be nice to see some old familiar faces. I always enjoyed when you were able to make it. We have lost a couple of members sinc...

Do any of you have a copy of the LTC-104 form? My email didn't have one attached.

I'd just as soon start using it now, so I can get it into my regular routine, if possible.

Re: Ban on guns in post offices is unconstitutional, US judge rules

I love the Bruin decision more every day!

Question for our legal experts: what is the impact of this for us (assuming it stands). Is it limited to only a certain geographic region, or does it impact the full US?

Re: Prayers for Mrs. VolTexan

Prayers seem to be working. She's still in the hospital, but things took a turn for the better this week Yesterday, the doc did another CT scan and informed us that the slow, less invasive healing process wasn't working, and he felt it was time to operate. Labs and images were not conclusive enough ...

Based on that, a ham radio operator would qualify

If that ham radio operator is a member of ARES, I might could see the argument.

Re: What gun related gifts did you receive?

My daughter (who is the same person who had the amazing idea to gift me the CHL Instructor’s Course years ago) bought me some quality leather and leather working tools so I could build my own OWB holster for my Walther PDP. I’d mentioned a few months ago that I was thinking about doing this, and she...

Re: Prayers for Mrs. VolTexan

Thank you all, and today was a great day for our family. With all the challenges this year, we’ve still been quite blessed with work, so we were able to provide our daughter with a great Christmas surprise. Also, the docs and nurses continued to work their magic and my wife had a mostly good day her...

Prayers for Mrs. VolTexan

Christmas has come, and it’s safe to assume that anyone still in the hospital REALLY needs to be there - and I guess my wife meets the criteria. She was in the hospital for 18 days from 27 Oct to 14 Nov. After getting out, she never got back to 100% due to residual fluid buildup in her abdominal cav...

Re: What happened to R.D Warren Leather?

Reviving this old thread...

I still swear by RD Warren's work, so I reached out to him so I could order a new holster for my new EDC.
I hope he's still in business, and if so, I'll let y'all know what he comes up with for my daily use!
