Re: HD for the elderly- need some suggestions

I am with Rob72, something like the PC-9 is the way to go. If he is that good with a Red Rider, it would be an easy jump across. Honesty a pistol AR9 with brace wouldn't be bad either (and possibly less expensive and a bit more maneuverable ), but I think the PC-9 would be the most similar to what h...

Re: Hadrians Wall 90 mile fitness run/challenge virtual

Still having some issues with Google Fit not logging everything, but at least it looks like its getting some of it. We will definitely make it, and this was definitely a good idea, as I have looked at it each day and thought "I could get another mile in"

Re: Hadrians Wall 90 mile fitness run/challenge virtual

Syntyr, I would be in. I usual get 3-7 miles a day from normal walking around, I have been trying to add a couple more on an incline treadmill. I have a couple of half marathons and spartan races in the bag, so if we fall behind, I can definitely do a couple long (10+ mile days) to help catch up if ...

Same here as cirus. The online renewal system was way easier this time around compare to last time. And we got the licenses pretty quick (not more than a couple weeks)

Thanks Paladin for the explanation, I will definitely look into getting one. Also really appreciate your description of the base plate mounts as I was wondering how that would work. :thumbs2:

Re: MantisX Basic Marksmanship patch

Paladin, do you use the MantisX system with live fire drills a lot as well? I have been looking for something like this, but wonder how well it would stand up to regular use in live fire. The goal system also doesn't hurt

Re: So...you didn’t get Stimulus check...

I am not a "never Trumper", and I have agreed with the majority of actions taken by our president. However, I do not think it is constitutional for the government to simply dole out money to the public from the treasury. This article citing a story about Davy Crockett when he was in congress comes ...

Re: Stimulus checks

No check for this household. And I am finding it disturbing that "There is no minimum income threshold. Even if you make $0 you qualify for the $1,200 payment." I don't know if anyone remembers this but Bush did a "stimulus" style check many years ago. It started out as a 500 dollar "refund". The l...
