Re: Texas House backs open display of handguns in cars

It sounds like if I remove my handgun from my shoulder or belt holster while sitting in the car and place it in another holster and while doing ...

Re: Vortex Optics StrikeFire II Red Dot Sight RED/Green

I have one on my WW-15 (.223) and really like it. It comes with a 1/3 cowitness mount that's attaches to the rail and lines right up with my flip-up front sights. I like the fact that you can keep both eyes wide open and finding the target is easy. If you search around you might be able to find it a...

Re: ammo on sale

Thanks Beiruty,
Ordered on Saturday and got it Wednesday. The invoice actually had the ammo at $199.99 and shipping at $20, but $219.99 is a great price. :tiphat:

Re: S.B.321 (Parking Lot Bill)

Thanks for the responses, but I'm having trouble understanding this portion of 52.061 (b) Section 52.061 does not prohibit an employer from prohibiting an employee who holds a license to carry a handgun under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, or who otherwise lawfully possesses a firearm, ...

Re: S.B.321 (Parking Lot Bill)

the employer CAN prohibit carry inside of company buildings since that is what the definition of TPC 46.035 (f)(3) covers by 'premises". in short ... buildings, NOT parking lots, driveways, or sidewalks. Most prohibit carry by policy therefor no signs are required. Also they can prohibit carry of w...

S.B.321 (Parking Lot Bill)

Would someone please explain to me exactly what this section of 52.061 means? ( b) Section 52.061 does not prohibit an employer from prohibiting an employee who holds a license to carry a handgun under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, or who otherwise lawfully possesses a firearm, from po...

U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 2028

Thought this was interesting. If it is already running...sorry. On Friday, May 1, 2015, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 2028 the "Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2016," by a bipartisan vote of 240-177. This bill is designed to protect the rights of...

Re: Seeking advice: Flight AA DFW-PHX w/CHL

As I understand the rules (which are hard to find because they differ) unloaded gun in locked case, in locked suitcase. Ammo must be in the original box in a separate suitcase locked. This is to prevent a baggage handler from having access to both gun and ammo if in the event he/she decides to break...
