Mine was 2.5 weeks before it updated online to background check...not looking forward to the next 40 days

You guys who are 40 days into your BG check...how long before your information changed online where you could see the progress?

Geez this sucks...my background check just started on Monday.

So much for a 40 day mailbox to mailbox license

The same thing happened to me when I went to complete the paperwork...thankfully I noticed it and changed it on my own. Sounds pretty common...you think they'd get that fixed!

Well I called the state today and asked what they thought;

I simply needed to include a letter with my paperwork stating that I am requesting to change my application from 'indigent' to 'standard' and include the other $70 via check or MO.

I did so and my paperwork is in the mail.

Also...I selected the 'indigent' application that was essentially half-price of the 'standard' application. From what I understand, they want a copy of your 1040 (for whatever reason). I selected this option to save a few bucks as I really don't care if the state knows how much money I ...
