Re: Georgia Man Shoots and Kills Man in His Backyard
From the article I read, I did not pick up any specific indication of lighting or a solid feeling of distance. I don't know what the homeowner perceived or felt at the time, and won't personally jump to the conclusion that it is a bad shoot though it is equally unclear that it is a good shoot. I co...

Airports
I went to the Airport (DFW) to pick up my son for Thanksgiving holidays.
I looked everywhere and saw no 30.06 signs. not even gun buster signs. We walked into the baggage pick up area, not the boarding area.
Is it legal to carry there?

Re: MISTRIAL in Ft. Hood soldier's case for carrying AR15
SMH. I can't believe you guys are celebrating his conviction. You do realize that what the cops did was wrong and what the prosecutor did was worse? That the prosecutor is anti-gun and took this case personally and pursued it until he got what he wanted? That when you go to Temple the police will n...

Re: Central Texas homeowner gets 20 years for shooting
I think things went wrong for the homeowner when he shot the guy twice as he was trying to escape over a fence, then a third time while he was on the ground. However, the judge's comments were insane. Does this set precedence? So warning shots are ok now? This could cut both ways because people who...

Re: Tueller Principle
Not really a fair comparison respectfully sir.
1. The officers had their weapons drawn and aimed. Not holstered.
2. The man had his hands at his side and did not take a step forward.
I just don't believe it was a clean shoot.

Re: Disparity of force
If you are going to start shooting in that situation, you better have a pile of those 7 round magazines. Glock 30, 11 rounds with two mags back up. 31 rounds total. This is what happens in anti gun states. I'm glad the family man only got bruises and cuts. It's a shame the biker is paralyzed for li...

Re: New To Hunting: A few questions
I'm in the exact same boat! I even moved here from California before they build the fence keeping people in. I'm learning to hunt. Learning to clean and process deer. And want to can what I kill for future use. I also want to learn to HUNT rather than harvest. But I do plan to do both. I will use th...

It's the frog in the water thing fella's. COP's are not soldiers and citizens are not the enemy. Yet it's sizing up that way. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=swat+team+abuse&FORM=HDRSC2#view=detail&id=CC79E389FC95C88C990863BB8956F919862A3728&selectedIndex=5" onclick="window...

Part of the take over of America.
And most will bend over and take it.
I've learned there are many who talk trash.
Our founding fathers were in the 3% group.
That means 97% were sheeple.

I personally believe that everyone standing their ground when you're within your rights maintains our rights.
Great job sir. You acted professionally and appropriately. And by the way...my wife would have done and said the same thing.
Shall not be infringed means exactly that!
