My pet peeve is calling these kind of situations an "accident". It is either "negligent" or a "homicide", but it surely is not an "accident".

Thank you. I think the same principle applies if someone had a negligent discharge because their finger was on the trigger, and then tried to dodge responsibility because they didn't have adequate training or skill to safely handle the firearm.

Wife and I recently moved to New Braunfels and we went to a the Marketplace movie theatre. The have signs posted on all the entrances that simply say "No Firearms Allowed on Premises". The signs are in 4" white block letters. There is no reference to 30.06 at all.
