The law also states that you entered the building not then open to the public which the grocery store was at the time. I have put the question to DPS I will post when I Recieve a definative reply. Thank you for all of your responses.

This was definitely a misdemeanor charge in California. I did not enter the building without permission or the intent to commit a felony.

Multiple misdemeanors

Will multiple misdemeanors that would not otherwise disqualify by themselves disqualify an applicant. Is there a timeframe that applies to disqualification for multiple misdemeanors?

My confusion lies in weather or not my offense constitutes a felony under the laws of this state.
In California it was punishable by up to one year in county jail and a thousand dollar fine.
