I've been pleased and impressed with my Shield 40. and plan on buying one in 45. Same capacity, only slightly heavier and larger. I can live with the front slide serrations, even though I don't like them. Maybe it will even ride in my current holster!

I did my renewal online, the 19th of last month. Received my LTC today. I had email confirmation the 19th, but no updates or anything else until it showed up in the mail.

I've kept a round count for a lot of years. Including all my firearms, I average between 6,000 and 7,000 rounds per year. Wish it were more, but weather slows me down sometimes.

Ran some errands this morning in my near by small town (6400+). Drove around for awhile looking at snow and drifts. Saw zero open carriers. Businesses I stopped at, I was concealed carrying, and couldn't even detect any others doing as I was.

For now, I'm going to assume that it means in a belt or shoulder holster worn by me. It may be ironed out to mean something different later, but I think I'll just take the wording of the law literally.

No. We're going to wait and see how it goes. My church supports concealed carry, and has even had CHL classes in the fellowship hall. I think open carry will be discouraged, while concealed carry will continue to be encouraged, as it already is.

My pastor is a gun guy, and he's fine with concealed carry. I noticed shortly after he became aware, that some members in the congregation were armed, the quality and brevity of his messages improved!

As HB 2756 is currently written, does anyone think it can cause us to lose current businesses, we currently carry in now? I got the letter, did the renewal process online and paid the fee. I've signed up for a class in March. I'm wondering though, if the state will send out a new handbook. I know there have been at least a couple of changes since 2006.
