Re: Gun deaths in US highest in 20 years

My guns haven't died. Anyhow, we all know that guns don't kill people, bullets do. So let's ban bullets. Just the lead part needs to be banned. Aside from that, I have dealt with individuals that were serious about suicide and always wondered why they would go for a gun as the means to die. There ar...

Re: Bear protection?

Watch how fast the bear attacks these guys. You don't have a lot of time to decide what to do. Language warning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gz9P3xrNjsk As far as .44 mag, I have a S&W 629 (8"barrel) but I think if I were in bear country (which won't happen) I would probably consider a 10mm with...

Re: DACA - Carrying Pistol in Vehicle

It would have to be a private party sale. The most likely scenario would involve something sketchy in nature. Selling a gun to a DACA would be legal or illegal if one knew of their status? My post was more in response to answer your question about whether sale of a gun to DACA would be legal or ill...

They may be manly but you should have seen my daughters face when I took her out to shoot one for the first time 2 weeks ago. She was a true pro and she is too pretty to be called manly.

Re: DACA - Carrying Pistol in Vehicle

Yes. And back to the original question...It appears perfectly legal under Texas law for an alien under deferred removal to carry a handgun in their car. As to how they acquire the firearm...I don't recommend anyone privately sell or transfer a firearm to someone they know is here under DACA (i.e. a...

Re: The Boy Scouts Filing Bankruptcy After A String Of “Woke” Decisions Caused It To Go Broke

Wall Street Journal also discussed this and I am a big fan of the Boy Scouts but the reason that they may be facing bankruptcy is declining numbers as well as lawsuits from sexual abuse allegations. The lawsuits are probably the main reason.

Re: DACA - Carrying Pistol in Vehicle

I guess the issue is that perhaps Redranger thinks DACA are legal. That seems to be the only way that one can believe that DACA can posses firearms or ammunition. Therefore if a DACA individual has a firearm or ammo in their possession while driving in Texas they would be committing a federal violat...

Watched this on the news tonight. They said the family is going to work on changing knife laws. There is no question that the killer was insane. Changing knife laws though? Rational thought lost in grief.

Re: Man’s Legally Owned Firearms Confiscated...Ma.

Police over reaction? Massachusetts law.. an individual with a valid firearms identification card issued under G. L. c. 140, § 129C, is not obliged to secure or render inoperable a firearm while the individual carries it or while it remains otherwise under the individual's control. A gun owner may t...

Blah. Blah. Blah. Cutting through the noise, the bottom line for me in 2020, is I will not vote for the architect of a firearm accessory ban by non-legislative rule-making.
So which democrat would you vote for?
