Re: Changing flash hider on a .223 Wylde?
Some additional notes on the crush washer:
1. For .223, the barrel is 1/2x28 threads for a muzzle device and you will need a crush washer for that size. Yes, crush washers come in different sizes.
2. Pay attention to the crush washer orientation, there is a cup/bevel that must point away from the ...

Re: I think the forum is dying
I usually just read the forum and rarely post because I know that if I just wait a little bit TAM will be along to give a good response.
That being said, I will try to contribute more.

Don't forget you will need a new crush washer anytime you mount a new flash hider.

Re: Stepped up my game.....
I mounted a Vortex Viper RDS on mine. The Vortex is alright, but it doesn't have the 'shake awake' feature mentioned above. Another pain with the Vortex is it has lock screws to prevent the zeroing adjustments from drifting or inadvertent movement; however the placement of these lock screws butt ...

Re: IDPA and the Timney trigger
I have a G45 with new sights and a Timney trigger installed. SSP or ESP? Now I know the light has to come off. 32E64E03-A467-4B64-863A-1EE66294A732.jpeg
Why does the light have to come off? It isn't a laser, right? And does nothing else to enhance anything during a daylight match and you are ...

Re: Three professors sue UT to keep guns out of their classrooms
Thank you Chas for posting the link. I ended up listening to it twice. Very interesting hearing the arguments on both sides of this case. It seems like the central part of the plaintiff's argument is that they have standing because they have a fear of the actions of a third party. If this argument ...

Compilation of disqualifications in shooting sports
In over 3 years competing in IDPA I have only seen 2 DQ's. One DQ was for breaking the 180 rule on a stage that had you riding a bicycle angled to the left so doing a reload while facing forward on the bike would cause you to break 180.
