I have carried without a CHL... a shotgun and two pistols for years and drove drunk with them in the car. I have also been pulled over with this ridiculously illegal combination ...

OWB is more comfortable, but it takes very little for you to expose the pistol or holster. A strong breeze, bending over, whatever.
Personally I use a C-TAC slide from http://www.comp-tac.com
IWB, conceals easily, rides great. Plus their customer service is awesome.

I made the mistake of mentioning it at my office. A few of the other IT geeks were talking about going and getting their CHL about the same time I was scheduled to get mine. I told them the day and time I was taking the class and they should join me. Never happened. But they all knew I went and did ...

Started out to be a bad day.
My day started out bad. I had to take my cat to a specialist in College Station. Before I ever made it home all the cats teeth had been removed and my Glock 26 fund took a severe hit. I was at $385 saved up. Now the fund is at -$415. Yup....$800 to remove all the teeth.

Very true. I've been anxious about this ever since I mailed it off. Now I have the agonizing wait of waiting on the plastic.RKirby wrote: Congratulations!
I hear ya on the birthday...mine is coming up soon also. Although another year would have been nice I don't think I could have taken much more waiting!

Its been 27 days since DPS got my application and I have still yet to see a PIN. If this 60 days is right I still got 33. I can't wait but I am also waiting on my Springfield Loaded that I had to send in for the sights being a off to the left at 7 yds. Since it was going to be there any way I am ...

Standing by the mailbox is tiring & you are going to get wet today if you live in East Tex. Pitch you a tent there get a bucket to sit on, or better still relax in the house. There you can practice draw & dry fire, break in the holster & get it adjusted to height & cant, get used to cover & carry w ...
