Re: Prior suspension of 2nd Amendment Rights questions

I know that the last time American's 2nd Amendment rights were taken away was during Katrina in New Orleans, but do any of you know how many times that this has been done by our Govt? I have looked but having a hard time finding anything. that's all I was wanting to know. It was the underlined part...

Re: City of Schertz - no weapons sign

It wasn't a 30.06 sign so I ignored the sign and went in anyway but the more I thought about it, the madder I got. I took a picture of the sign but can't figure out how to post it here. I was under the understanding a city cannot legally make this kind of ordinance or sign. Am I wrong? Your underst...

Re: Renewal Class experience

I think someone should be able to safely load and unload the gun they choose to qualify with. There are tools that make it possible for anyone to load any magazine with very low effort. If someone is qualifying with a gun whose magazines they are not able to load easily, they should know about thes...

Re: CHL Holder wins again!

From the info given in the article, this looks like a good shoot. The guy got the drop on the BG and he did what he did. I think he will be no billed. Given the clearance rate for this type of crime, what is the guy's reasonable belief that his property could be "recovered by other means"? Not much ...

Re: Prior suspension of 2nd Amendment Rights questions

I think everyone here has a valid point. But yankee, lighten up buddy, seriously. you have pointed out some very notable things that also helped answer my question(s). :patriot: Thanks. Sorry to be keeping the mods so busy. But I am curious. What kind of dialog were you looking for in your OP? Were...

Re: Texaco Employee is a good shot, RObber killed, HOuston

seems to me thats an open invitation to BGs for a quick and easy score (assuming no CHL's nearby) ;-) Even if there are. I ain't going to war to protect some store's money. It's not like they are going to support me if I need it in the aftermath. I would only intervene if I thought that innocent li...

Re: Prior suspension of 2nd Amendment Rights questions

The OP is free to clarify whether they meant infringement of RKBA like in the subject or if they only wanted to know about firearm confiscation. thanks fellers The OP posted after Liberty and I posted our responses. As I read his response above, he was fine with what Liberty and I posted. This was ...

Re: Do you carry "Round Chambered" or not ?

Firearms can have multiple devices intended to improve safety, like the Glock Safe-Action trigger, beaver-tail blocks, the Kimber Series II firing pin block, or the "magazine safety" mentioned earlier. But a safety is a singular device that is specifically designed to prevent a cocked hammer or str...

Re: More Injustice from The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts

This is a close call. The business owner knew who the BG was, so he could have easily made a police report and had the guy arrested. And the BG was fleeing and apparently not posing a threat at the time the business owner fired. And believe me, you don't try to shoot out the tires of a fleeing vehic...

The fact is that you pointed out Liberty and me for a thread hijack. If you had the information you posted above you should have posted that instead of hassling Liberty and me. If the OP or a moderator wants to take me to task then they are free to do so. Not you. Anygunanywhere Why not? You don't ...

Re: 30.06 refusal to leave question

and to the original question posted, you would be arrested by the officer even though you LEGALLY did nothing wrong. I would have to agree that it would be best to leave and contact the DPS office and have someone who actually knows the law meet you at the front door. Or call Charles's office and h...

Re: Bob Barr announces possible presidential bid

I like Bobby Jindal, but I don't think he has enough experience. With McCain's age, any VP would need to be someone who could take over on short notice with little or no OJT needed. Charlie Christ would bring FL with him, but from some things I've read he isn't as conservative as some people make hi...

Re: Prior suspension of 2nd Amendment Rights questions

Everytime that someone goes to the gun store and is denied for what ever reason. because of the NICs search. Folks in Washington DC and in Chicago are all denied their second Amendment rights. Second amendment rights are suspended every day. Whenever you are required to obtain a license to arm your...
