"City" Vs. "Country" weapons discharge

The title sounds strange but here's what I'm getting at...

My former home was in the city (Lewisville) - see a snake, decide to shoot the snake and you could end up in jail

My new home is in a rural area but in the same County - see a snake, shoot a snake, and go back to what you were doing ...

Thank you. I know they have a huge restaurant and bar section so unless posted 51% it may be good to go. My plan is just to go straight through Pete's and out to the boat docks. Two minutes max.

Sneaky Petes, Lake Lewisville. Posted?

Does Sneaky Pates on Lake Lewisville have a 30.06 or 51% sign posted? Need to plan ahead and decide if my pistola gets a day off while I do some boating. Thank you.

And know that the time line to getting approved can be from 20 days to over 60... Make you feel better? It'll drive you nuts if you let it. Good luck.

Best thing to do on this trip is to forget about the CHL and have a great time.

CHL Pre-Apply Online Vs. Apply After Class Poll

Is the Processing / Accepted period shorter for those who pre-apply online Vs. those who fill out and submit their application after taking the CHL course? Please let us know.

Good luck, and hopefully your wait will be brief. Just out of curiosity, did you apply online prior to taking the CHL class? I am beginning to think that those that pre-applied may go through the system quicker. Just a theory, though

ntex,

Guess it's a good thing I didn't offer a wager, huh?

Congrats. Maybe I'm right behind you!?!?!

No kidding. I'm very surprised at the speed. I believe they send the application off to your county law enforcement agency? If so, Denton County is on the ball.

Now watch, it'll take three ...
