I have searched online but I cannot find any information on this..

I will be traveling in different states(Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas) with my girlfriend and she does not possess a CHL permit. I do however, but I will not be driving the entire trip and I would like to keep my gun in the glovebox ...

After asking "someone" I know who is a LEO, it is legal to open carry as a citizen in a gated community IF you live there... But I would not risk it, as each cop may treat it differently... Not worth the trouble getting arrested and then released.

What is the legality of retaining a firearm that you came into possession by luck or legal/legitimate circumstance without specific knowledge of who the owner is (like when you find one in the trunk of your rental car, left in a bathroom stall or in the inside of a home/property ...

How does someone without a CHL declare a handgun in their checked baggage at an airport without violating the law? I don't recall a CHL being a requirement to transport a handgun in such a manner.
A non-licensee declaring a handgun that is in a locked case in their luggage is legal ...
