How long do they last?

How long do your holsters last? Before they crack, or the leather is soft?

I have a half leather, half kydex hybrid holster and it has lasted 3.5 years, and the kydex is cracking in several places, along with the leather being soft.

So how long do your holsters last?! And what type are they?

He might just be miss informed... If you read JUST 11.61e it does prohibit it, but then read subsectionssubsections, 1-4 it gives exceptions.... LTC holders are covered under subsection 4

Atleast you found this out now, rather than cleaning it and having to defend yourself with it. And at least it's something that's not really major.

Re: Do you carry at home?

If I'm planning on going somewhere that day, I carry from the time I get dressed to the time I go to bed ( outside of the shower of course). When I work around the house, I am either carrying or have my Tomahawk close to me.

Re: Federal Concealed Carry Permitting?

While I feel that the federal government would never pass anything like that, whether I would apply would determine on if it negates state permits, and how that would be handled. Since I rarely travel outside of Texas, I would rather just keep my Texas permit, since I am familiar with the ...

I don't have a full size, but carry a commander IWB, with a hybrid style holster at about 4:30, it is very comfortable to me.

I am 6'2", about 135lbs btw.
