When the status says "Concealed Handgun License : Mailed" , does it mean License has been mailed or it just means they have the intention of mailing it sometime soon ?

I'm sure it has been mailed. Mine changed to "mailed" on 5/23, and it was in my mailbox on 5/29 (with holiday in between).

I actually use a small wristlet that is big enough for my iphone even with my IDs, cards, cash, and lipstick/chapstick. It stays on my wrist. Since I've just received my CHL, I haven't gone to the store with it yet. I may drag the bigger purse out for a Wally Walk this weekend.

Got my CHL in the mail Thursday.

Total time from mailing to receipt in my mailbox - 73 days or 10 1/2 weeks.

Concealed Handgun License : Mailed



So from mailed CHL - 100 on 3/17/14 to mailed 5/23/14 = 67 days

Took them forever to clear my background. Could be due to the fact I moved back home to Texas in 2010. I did have a CWP in Michigan, though.

I checked my status this morning at 6:45 and I got my first update:

I think the chl-100 is good for 2 years. But the timeline for them starts when they get your whole packet, so if you sent it 3/17, it should update anytime now. I uploaded mine 3/17 and got my first update today.

I'm just wondering if my time schedule is within norms. I see some with the same or similar timeline have received updates/license and some have not.
