Re: 2017 Legislative Priorities
Since it looks to be Trump v Clinton election in November, I think the 2017 session would be a fine time to re-introduce a bill that would nullify anymore federal attempts at gun control.

Re: Cruz is out.
I'll throw my opinion in the hat and then step aside.
I was/am a Sen. Cruz fan, and even supported his campaign with monetary donations.
I will not bash Trump, nor do I have to like him. I am fearful he is nothing more than a male Hillary Clinton. I have yet to find any convincing evidence that ...

1.) Reintroduction of 308 (2015)
I was a supporter of 910, mainly because it did further advance gun rights in Texas; however it used up a tremendous amount of political capital and 308 never really gained any traction . I personally believe 308 would have done more for Texas gun rights.
My fear ...

I have a 2004 Tacoma and have been running Goodyear Duratracs for the last two years. I'm estactic with them. They have about 30k on them and are about 50% thread life. For an all terrian, they pull great in the mud.

Re: General 2015 Legislative Session Discussion
Just read where CJ and his hooligans are going to push for the removal of the license requirement on HB910; correct me if I'm wrong but that's the whole reason why this bill has progressed versus HB195.

Re: C.J. Grisham is factually-challenged
Gentlemen....
There is no big surprise here. This has been this man's MO all along. As I recall, when SB11 and SB17 passed committee Sen. Estes posted on his Facebook announcing the successes of SB 11 and SB17; Mr. Grisham commented not one thank you or appreciation but simply a half cocked reply ...

Re: General 2015 Legislative Session Discussion
With all this Open Carry and Campus carry talk....I hope that other vitally important pro gun bills are not being overshadowed. Specifically HB 413, 422, 695, 805 and SB 311 and 348.

Re: General 2015 Legislative Session Discussion
Looks like the hearing notice was just updated and SB346 was replaced with newly filed SB17 (with identical bill text)?

Re: General 2015 Legislative Session Discussion
I've noticed a news outlets are referencing a piece done in the Texas Tribune, reporting Lt. Gov. Patrick has gone on record saying open carry is not a priority of this legislature and he further adds he doesn't believe there's enough support for it.

I would like to introduce my son, Case. Case was born on Christmas Eve, truly a gift from God, and is very premature. He was born at 25 weeks and will be in the NICU. Until May or June. At birth he weighed 1# 7oz and has improved to almost 2# 10oz. We still have a long road to go but ...
