One of my favorites sayings is that when someone asks you how many guns you own.
You just shrug your shoulders and say "I don't know."
Too few to bother counting.

You might be a gun nut...

Well, there's an outfit called Greentoe that sells cameras, appliances etc.. I got an email from them saying "It's hot. Need a new AC?" For some reason I read "Need a new CZ?". Between an AC and a CZ I'd rather have the CZ.

Re: 3 NY police Officers intentionally poisoned at Shake Shack

I hope mayor Dumbassio and his minions get their noses out of this and the truth comes out. Not sure I want them to own the store. The owner may have nothing to do with it at all and if so shouldn't lose everything. I do want to see those responsible, providing it was intentional which is about 99.9...

Re: If you could only carry a revolver

That makes sense. I've never seen one other than photos and didn't know it was ported. It probably needs to be set back. Still looks a bit funny though. :)

Re: If you could only carry a revolver

Never understood why they put the front sight so far back. It looks funny and can't improve sighting any I wouldn't think.

Kel-Tec shortage?

What's up with the Kel-Tec shortage? I watched an episode of one of the gun shows on TV that was very positive. I checked both Gallery of Guns and Bud's websites and they had a total of zero pistols at either supplier. Why such a shortage? According to the show they made about 15,000 firearms per mo...

Re: If you could only carry a revolver

I've got a nice J frame shrouded hammer with CT grips. It fits a pocket nicely. I would go with that.

Re: PPK ballistics

We were watching a movie and when they analyzed the bullet from the corpse they claimed it came from a PPK and one suspect had a PPK. I've heard of Glocks being identified by the striations etc. but wasn't sure if there was something like that to absolutely identify a PPK or not. In the same movie t...

Re: PPK ballistics

Ok so when they look at the bullet they'd know it was a PPK and couldn't possibly be any other firearm. I've never studied any of this and thought it might be from gun A, B, C or D. Have they advanced so much they can tell every firearm just from a recovered slug or do they still need to match some ...

PPK ballistics

Is there anything distinctive about the PPK that allows identifying a recovered bullet as coming from it and no other pistol?
