Re: Walking stick or walking cane?

I'm 68 and these thoughts come to me now and then. I've been researching a bit. These guys are expensive and at least in my mind are worth it. Buy once, cry once. Lots of good information and videos. Good luck with your decisions.

Re: Charlie Kirk Shot

Civil War II. The left wants it. At some point they will likely get it. It won't go well for them. I'm beginning to alter my thinking from please never to let's get it over with and be rid of the left once and for all.

Re: Survival Shotgun

I was looking at .22 Hornets and one was a survival combo of a .22 Hornet and .410 shotgun, both single shot. I don't remember the maker. It looks like an interesting idea though.

I'm not for Cornyn at all. He's just another democrat. Time will tell.

Re: Galveston- good places to eat?

Not seafood but The Original Mexican Cafe on 14th at Market St. is very good and has been in business over 100 years so definitely doing something right. Gaido's at 39th and Seawall usually tops the seafood list I think.

Re: Texas House Democrats Fleeing again to break quorum

Throw enough of them out and there will be a quorum with those remaining. They are blatantly violating their oath of office and should be thrown out. Enough of this bull.

Re: Tired of Cornyn?

Which is worse, "person" who is a democrat and wears it or Cornyn who is a democrat but denies it? I truly want to see a much better republican in the seat but if the general election gets here and the choice is the two democrats which is the worse choice?

Re: Sig P365X pondering

I had a student a month or so ago searching in DFW for the 365x (with a thumb safety). The only one he could find at the time was at Scheels for around $620. Where did you find one for $495?

Re: Sig P365X pondering

I wish they had more options available at the special pricing but this is it. I'd like a P229 also but they have zero of those in the program.

Re: Sig P365X pondering

This is through their Shoot Sig program, their version of GSSF. There are none of the 3.7" options available and the other 3 9mm choices are more expensive models, with optic or whatever. I'd choose XL if it was available. It's between that and a Glock 43X/48. The 48 has a small lead at the moment.
