Situational Awareness--Not Always Easy

So, today I was walking through the doors at the entrance to the Walmart and into the store when I turned my head to the right and behind me to talk to another old geezer. About that time I heard somebody say, "He is going real fast!" I turned my head back to the left and did not see anything. Someb...

What Joe Biden Thinks About Guns

From his own website:

Scary.

Many of us are not "one-issue" voters but you should think about what he is trying to do when you go to vote this November.

Re: Ballistol--Yellowish Paste?

I have never had a problem with Ballistol in the aerosol cans either. I wonder if I applied Ballistol in a needle-oiler to the hammer and trigger pins of my AR15 if that would cause them to gum up over time? I don't think I will try that experiment. I can reach those components using Ballistol's aer...

Ballistol--Yellowish Paste?

Shot a few rounds in my Glock 26 then went back to the house for the usual cleaning. I noticed that some Ballistol in one of my needle-oilers had congealed into yellowish paste at the bottom of the container. Never seen that before! I stirred it and it was like a thick paste! The liquid consistency ...

Re: The Boy Scouts Filing Bankruptcy After A String Of “Woke” Decisions Caused It To Go Broke

 I have fond memories of being a Boy Scout. I made it to Patrol Leader and learned a ton. I did my scouting up north back in the sixties. I learned our favorite weekend camping spot was used years later to film Friday the 13'th! Really saddens me to see the Chapter 11. With the advent of the in...

Re: Bloomberg campaign in TX

And now, according to Fox News, Bloomberg is paying between $10 and $11 million for a Super Bowl ad promoting more gun control. Spend the money on the homeless in NYC! Apparently that super-bowl ad can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Yp0yN8UxVg&feature=youtu.be Bloomberg convenientl...

Re: TX: The mean streets of Clute

My high-school gym coach was Ray Alborne. One day in my junior year around 1969 at Sharpstown HIgh Ray said you! you! and you! We were sitting in the bleachers as it was a rainy day. He ordered us into his office...Bend over! Whack! Whack! Whack! Yep, three pops to my posterior! As he was deliverin...

Re: Waller County

Holcomb won in the appeals court which remanded the case back to the trial court to determine Holcomb's damages including his costs and attorneys fees. Have not heard what happened since then. I think the Supreme Court of Texas refused to hear the case. http://www.search.txcourts.gov/SearchMedia.asp...

Re: TX: Bellaire High School Shooting was a Never Again

I am very suspicious from what I have read about this so far--I don't think we are getting the whole story. So, the kid brought a loaded handgun to school--gee I thought schools were gun-free zones. Sarcasm. The shooter was in ROTC? They either taught him gun safety and he ignored it or they did not...

Re: Church shooting in Tarrant County - White Settlement

Better believe they drug-tested this perp. as part of an autopsy.
When are they gonna release the results?
My gut tells me they will find something like meth, cocaine, marijuana, bath salts, etc. in his system.

Re: Starwars: the rise of Skywalker

I generally enjoyed the most recent Star Wars as it kept me guessing on the ending. However, the light saber duels were like--oh no--here comes another interminable light saber duel--I lost count.
