Re: FBI Report on active shooter incidents

Looks like they revised their definition of "active shooter" to a more useful definition. The term "mass attacker" would be even better, as these attackers choose a variety of weapons. This study has been done by Texas State University. There is a poster of the study results from a presentation tha...

I’m just curious as to what percentage of those anti-gun people trying to buy right now will in the future vote for or against new gun control laws.
Most if not all will vote for more gun control laws. I have zero faith.

Re: MD: Red Flag warrant leads to police shooting?

Shot in his sleep, from outside his home, wounding his pregnant girlfriend in the process. Red Flag Laws are tyrranical, no knock warrants are unsafe for everyone involved. I’m sure the Maryland le agency in charge will find themselves free from any wrongdoing. I’d love to see this get into a court...

Re: My down the road neighbor's dilemma!

For the record glocks actually have several safeties. Trigger safety, firing pin safety, and a drop safety. None of them will keep the gun from firing if the trigger is pulled, but then again no safety should be trusted in that manner. The best safety that we all have sits between our ears. If he ca...

Re: Joe Biden

How does Biden threatening physical violence against a citizen, and also stating that he does not work for the people, just get swept under the rug? That little outburst should be the end for him, along with countless other tantrums he has thrown.

I’m not disclosing that I’m carrying, and I’m not showing my ltc either. Call it belligerent if that’s what you’d like, it’s no one’s business but my own.

Re: Custom 1911

She might be better off buying a nice production model, and having a silversmith/engraver customize it the way she likes. They would be able to inlay copper and engrave anything she might want while saving lots of time.

Re: Keep an eye on Virginia

What will be the ultimate tipping point? Will it be magazines? Suppressors? "Assault weapons"? Semi Automatics"? Where does everyone's line in the sand exactly fall? Without divine intervention, either America will resemble Venezuela, or there will be a civil war. I'd prefer divine intervention myse...

Re: ATF proposed changes to 4473

In 2018 there were 112,000 NICS Denials, and 12 were prosecuted. Instead of changing the verbiage on a 4473, how about prosecutors start doing their job. On top of that Changing the wording on the 4473 still does absolutely nothing towards prosecuting folks that lie on their 4473. :banghead: Do you...

Re: Shooting at Texas A&M

Our court system gets people killed by letting repeat violent offenders back out on the streets. Far too often. Also proof (many many times over) that restraining orders do not restrain, and the police are minutes away when seconds count. I'm reading that neither of the women were students at A&M C...

Lonestar Handgun

I went and visited Lonestar Handgun in Converse about two weeks ago, and really have nothing but positive things to say. I rented a tac bay for me and my girlfriend, so that 1. I could teach her in a comfortable environment, without someone right in my ear doing mag dumps while I’m trying to talk he...
