Re: Carry Permits Jump Over 1400 Percent When DC Went ‘Shall Issue’

We need a Supreme Court ruling that strikes down all the restrictions on carrying, the reason the D.C. ruling wasn't challenged was they were afraid of that very ruling!

Re: HB 22 - Paper ballot trail required

I only came up with two minor flaws in the system. The first is that I am confident that the system can tie my ballot back to me. I did not look closely at the ballot to see what the doing looked like at first because I did not realize how it worked (this was the first time using this system for me)...

Re: NM: Dog shoots jackrabbit hunter in his truck

You gotta teach your dogs to keep their paws off the trigger!
How old was the dog and was he old enough to handle a firearm responsibly?
Inquiring minds want to know?

Re: IL:Security Guard holding bar shooter on ground shot and killed by police by accident

Since I have left my previous employment and I now work as an Armed Security Guard my question is 1. Was the Security Guard in a uniform? In Texas you have to be in a uniform that clearly shows you are a Security Guard, you side arm is openly carried! 2. Who called the L.E.? Security Guard or bystan...

Re: Foreign influence in our elections

With our decentralized voting I fail to see how any foreign entity could have a significant impact, even the different cities in Texas use different machines, the machines themselves are not connected to any central computer, the biggest issue I see is inept or corrupt (florida) election officials!

Re: concealed carry insurance

Just looking to get a little extra insurance and I was wandering what most folks use. Thanks Auggie Mathis There are several decent options. You'll have to do your own due diligence to see which best fits your needs. I joined SCCA a and very shortly go a refund based on what I perceived as their ba...

Re: Sweeney TX: 13 yo shoots 11 yo brother in head by accident

My children were taught from a very early age not to touch my guns, both were taught to shoot when they were 4yo, my daughter never had much interest, my son by the time he was 13 had his own guns and could hit an egg size target at 400yds, had a AR15 in his closet, I trusted him implicitly with a f...
