Good thing the guys who took out Bonnie and Clyde weren't on the job. They pumped about 150 rounds into their car. Like most people now a days the DA is just out for himself. Morality and common sense never came into play.

Re: Big Shoot-Out South of Eagle Pass, Texas

I don't know. Fort Hood got shot up pretty good before they took him out. You would think a military base would have armed people everywhere. Military bases are police states, with tight weapons regulations. While most units have weapons, they are almost all tightly controlled and kept in arms room...

https://www.foxnews.com/world/mexico-cartel-member-gunbattle-police-texas-border Hopefully the Cartels won't be trying that north of the border. I think they eventually will. Sadly that's what it's going to take to lock the border down. A border town will have to be turned into a slaughter house to...

My preacher would have everyone open carrying or armed with a AR15 with a patrol sling. He's an old country boy .

Re: Good Guy Loses Shoot-out in Houston Pawn Shop Robbery

Many years ago when I took a job at 7-11 the management made it clear...nothing, including the cash, in the store is worth anyone’s life. Let the robber(s) take what they want and leave. I agree. If I was in a store with a robbery going down I'd just play it cool and let them take what they wanted....

Re: Effective Range of a .54 Cal Muzzleloader with Round Balls?

I've also got a Lyman GPR in .54 with a 1:60 twist for patched round ball. As far as effective killing range I don't know. As far as accuracy I think it would be good out past 100 yards with the right charge and the proper patch. I use .530 balls and a .010 patch for easy loading but if I want bett...
