Re: Masks now required for voting

The 5th Circuit Court overturned the ruling. Masks are not required, as of today. Tomorrow? Who knows.

Re: FS: Smith & Wesson 28-2 Highway Patrolman (Original box!) [Temple]

I've got one of those I bought brand new many, many years ago.. It's fired thousands of rounds and is still an excellent gun. I carry it on occasion. If you buy this, you will own a fine weapon.

Another piece of evidence of why you should always carry! This man's wife was in danger.

Re: BYRNA non lethal handgun

Pulling this out on someone immediately gives them a trigger respond to a deadly force threat. Yep. That’ll be my thought. There’s a confrontation of sorts. I pull my Byrna thingy and other person pulls out his/her M&P shield thingy (roughly same cost - pre madness). Now they have right to use dead...

Re: Antifa Website

This odd URL redirect seems to have happened August 12. In Trump's Wednesday press briefing, reporter Chanel Rion from One America News brought it up, saying that the redirect had evidently been put in place within a couple of hours before the press briefing. And, yep, it's still there. The IP reso...

Re: Antifa Website

Wow quite a collection of pre-Alzheimer's footage of Joe on that site... except for the quick [post hair sniff] hug of he and harris. And that is is official campaign site. His campaign wants the antifa vote. I know a little bit about DNS, I don't think this is a mistake. I know a little bit about ...

Re: November 4th... What are your preparations

Our insurance changed this year. One of the changes is that now we get 3 months supply of our prescriptions. I live out in the middle of nowhere. You can't see my house from the road. I'm good on ammo, and there is enough food walking around here on four legs, or swimming in the lake, or growing ou...

Re: Want to buy Snake Charmer .410

My wife keeps a H&R Tamer .410 handy. Sweet shooting little gun. She has killed several cotton mouths with it. But it's not for sale.

Re: Shotgun by the door / ready condition?

I keep a shotgun on my Kawasaki Mule in a gun rack 24/7. I ride in dusty conditions a lot, and there are hundreds of dirt dobbers in an out of my shop where it stays parked. I keep a little bag of balloons in the glove box of the mule. I put one of those balloons over the end of the barrel. Tape mig...

Re: Traveling to the North East

FWIW I was stationed up in both CT and RI for 7 years. I only had my 12 gauge with me the entire time and hunted in both states. I had Arkansas plates at the time, and I went back in 2016 to pick up a sailboat and had Texas plates that trip. I never got hassled by LE at any time, even when pulling ...

Re: Traveling to the North East

Yes, I do. I am looking at my CT Pistol Permit right now, and noting that it expires in January... . I have one from DC too, but it expired a couple weeks ago because I couldn't get back in-person to renew it due to COVID. I have this strange hobby of collecting these out of state permits. ...

Re: Traveling to the North East

I have two reasons for going. Both involve members of my family who are in the military. And this won't happen till next year. Right now there is a 14 day quarantine if you are from Texas. I'm just in the planning stages. Check. From my family to yours :tiphat: Thank you for their service. :txflag:...

Re: Traveling to the North East

If your 1 night stay is at your son's house, that's a "visit". No FOPA protection. If your 1 night stay is in a hotel along the way, I'd urge you to reconsider your schedule and avoid it. Reading FOPA, I don't see anything about overnight stay protection. https://www.nraila.org/articles/20140630/gu...
