UPDATE: I went ahead and completed the application. As some pointed out earlier it turns out the way they list the fees is misleading and erroneous. I only ended up paying $145.20, so the "texas.gov price" is $5.20 and the value that currently shows next to it is actually the TOTAL to be paid. :roll ...

Thank you for the replies. Yes that was my thought as well... that the fee for the texas.gov was 5.20 and the price displayed there is the total charged. I will go and complete the application and report back if this is indeed the case. If so, whoever they hired to program their shopping cart system ...
