My understanding is as follows;

Police (like any member of the public) has a license to approach a door of a home and knock. This assumes that the home does not have a barrier (like a fence with a closed and locked gate). There are special protections afforded to citizens in their own homes.

Interesting tidbit, States with no voter ID requirements went to the Dems. States with voter ID requirements went to the Republicans.


We already have federally expanded "Real ID". IE ID that requires proof of citizenship and birthplace. I see absolutely NO problem with expanding voting laws ...

USPS needs to go private, it's a waste of money.


Have to change the constitution to make that happen.


Article 1, Section 8 authorizes congress "To establish Post Offices and post Roads;", but does not mandate that they do.

I think it would be a good idea for the state to pass a law encouraging people to get the license, such as being exempt from sales tax on firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition, etc.


Sounds like an interesting idea and I'd be for it, but what benefit would there be for the state to do such ...
