I hope y'all are right.. it still seems fairly random to me. Mine was 6 or 7 weeks from app to plastic... others were less than 3 weeks, that filed before AND after I did. Hopefully mine was the anomaly

Lol, very nice... I was all in a month before you, and got my plastic on the same day. Don't care anymore.. the wait is over

Thank you very much for the reply! That number is the one I've been trying but, maybe it will be more receptive now that they have implemented a more automated system (that's what I keep hearing lately). Yall are awesome.

My dad and I turned in all paperwork submitted on April 23rd. He received his license about a month later. As for me, I've been stuck here since May. Should I make some phone calls to see what's going on?

Yup.. I'd find out who your rep is and either call or email.. especially since your dad ...

I suspect they batch up the printing of the licenses for efficiency. (Imagine that. Government interested in efficiency.) I'm hoping Friday is the day they print and mail. :waiting: :txflag:

DPS lady called me last week to update me on my status... she said the only thibg I was waiting on was for ...

It means that everything was approved, and now once it is printed, it changes to mailed.. mine's been hung up there for 3 or 4 days

Seems random... some people were 3 or 4 days, then mine was 38 days

Filled out dps online application / scheduled fingerprints for the 25th on 7/23/16
Took chl class 7/24/16
Got fingerprints at identogo on 7/25
Submitted all documents 7/25

Fingerprints : Received
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID ...

Should I have a status page if I was all in on on the 24th? I then submitted the bar code on the 26th, but already had everything else in already. My page still says they are awaiting docs.

Lol, I was all in and confirmed a month before you, and got the print pending update the same day you did (and I uploaded everything correctly and didn't have to resubmit anything) .. mine must have hit the desk of a slacker
