Re: I said something stupid

Re: AMMO. Buying, selling or nothing

There's ammo to be bought...if you're willing to pay the price for it. Twice so far this week, as well as a couple of times last week, I've received "in stock alerts" for 9mm range ammo, at .60/round. Cheaper to buy it on the secondary market.... Armslist or Texas Gun Trader is running .48 to .55 c...

Re: AMMO. Buying, selling or nothing

I've had a second friend in as many days asking to buy some 9mm from me... Told him no and that if I had sold what people asked of me just in the last few weeks, I would have been out 1000 rounds... Sent him over to Texas Gun Trader though... Spending lots of time getting aquatinted with all of my 2...

Re: Do you remember your very first time carrying after receiving your plastic?

ACADEMY - Figured it was the optimal choice for first time... Must have hiked my pants 20 times that trip.. Few days later Kohl's to get some shoes... I was so nervous bending over trying out different shoes.. I just knew I was going to send the store into a panic.... Nobody noticed... I started wor...

Re: debate = BUY SUPPLIES!

My mind was made up in 1980. Even at a ripe old age of 18 I already knew that the Republican Party aligned with my views. Reagan was my very first vote.

Re: debate = BUY SUPPLIES!

:banghead: It was like watching one of those housewife’s of Beverly Hills episodes. Biden didn’t win, but Trump lost. He beat himself. And just like the other posts here, all he had to do was stay calm and let Biden fumble over himself. Trump missed so many opportunities because he was to busy runni...

They can do LTC course, but they cannot act as security - and in this case it seems as a Personal Protection Officer (PPO) without being licensed by the state under Chapter 1702. It's one thing if they are allowed to carry for work, but if the intention is for them to be security they must be licen...

Re: Private Security and CHL

Sorry to bring up such an old dead thread, but it seemed appropriate to the question I have.... Let me explain. I have a potential client who wishes two of their staff to become knowledgeable and proficient in firearms.. These 2 people have no experience at all. We would be starting with of course t...

Re: Who's running a dot on their pistol?

This thread got me to thinking about what I have that will readily accept a dot. And I'm thinking now I want to throw one on my 686, there's an adaptor for that. I had a Taurus Tracker 6 inch (sold it shortly after buying it), but anyways, I put a red dot on it for my wife... She got board with it ...
