Is dealing with the emotional part of it all... The've even likened it to a mild form of PTSD.... I won't go into any grea...

Re: Where to buy bulk ammo in DFW

I'm rounding numbers here, but in the past year I've purchased 15K rounds of ammo.... Maybe 2k from online shopping, the rest was through private sales... I live on Armslist and Texas Gun Trader.... There are always people selling ammo they don't want anymore... Thanks. I honestly never thought abo...

Re: Where to buy bulk ammo in DFW

LOL.... No worries.... I have those friends as well...... Yup. I'll admit I was curious as well to find places locally "just in case" I needed to buy some bulk ammo. Typically I'll buy a case of ammo a month in advance of a class to allow time for shipping/delays. You you have an Academy I would ju...

Re: Oops! At the range.

A few years back I made a similar mistake. I was test firing a new .380. Then I fired my Glock 9mm. By mistake, I reloaded the magazine on the Glock with some .380 rounds left on the bench. They fired fine but would not cycle the slide. It took me a dozen or so rounds before I stopped blaming the g...

Re: thoughts on the future of political parties

I'm sure I'll go back to my normal self, but right now I'm implementing the "Head in a hole" strategy..... I've stopped all political and most news feeds from my apps that I use on a daily basis.... I've given up most online sources such as Yahoo, etc..... Yesterday I even removed Fox from my News 3...

Re: Magazine repair question

Appreciate it.... When the other mag comes in I'll try the spring in both. That way I can determine where the problem actually is... It's a Hungarian FEG AP 7.65... Nice shooting little gun and your right, a nice clone of the Walther... I think I picked it up for around $225.00 a few months back... ...

Re: Magazine repair question

Nah, regular ball ammo. Considering it almost 50 years old I guess it’s just wore out. I went ahead and ordered another one.
