Agreed. In a country surrounded by other countries who have explicitly stated their desire is to wipe your country from the map, why would the government not want every Israeli citizen armed? The only reason I can think of is their fear that along with Israeli Jews, Christians and agnostics they would also be arming Israeli Muslims. Which is irrational at best.

If what this guy says is true then we’re about to experience the fruits of the open border folly.
