Re: CA: Mass stabbing in SoCal, 4 dead 2 wounded

Apparently now all my kitchen knives are defective too since they haven't killed anyone. Just sent my mom an email to her asking about why someone needs an AR. She thinks I should be able to defend myself but .... I will patiently explain the tools necessary to defend myself to anyone.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Today a coworker told me that hes so upset that Trump is visiting El Paso. Apparently he blames Trump for what happened and is offended by his visit. He's offended by the President of the United States visiting one of his States that has just experienced a tragedy. If Trump didn't go he would have ...

Re: Topographical maps

I have to admit I am getting a Garmin do-it-all watch for Christmas/anniversary/Tuesday but I refuse to let my map and compass skills lapse. My wife and I still like to backpack to places that might get us lost and certainly don't count on electronics to work.

Re: CZ P-01

I have had a P-01 for almost 15 years. I have enjoyed shooting it in recreation and competition. I like the decocking feature for a non striker fired gun. The trigger is quite smooth and mags both factory and after market drop easily. One of the nicest things is it carries easily even compared to my...

Re: Post Mortem

Here is my Post Mortem Analysis. Have TSRA and NRA became irrelevant in Texas? Do they need more money?? Let us raise some cash if so is the case. NRA and TSRA should spent more on Promoting and enlisting more 2ndA supporters. Demographics are changing faster than you think Time is not the friend o...

Thank you for the update link. I always like to reserve judgement and am sure to read all sources of information before deciding good/bad on a subject.

Thank you Paladin for posting this link. I've done what I can to teach my kids to have outstanding character and look out for their fellow man. My kids will be on their own after this year and I can now only call in the signals. They will watch this video.

Re: 3 beauties for sale--League City/Houston area Price Drop!

Dang! I've been looking for a light weight revolver for a few years but this model's value gets outside my price range for what I have in the coffee can. I'll keep looking at this thread and drooling.

Re: Early Voting

I went, north side of Houston, and line was so long I didn't have time to stand that long. Good turn out and let's hope it's for the good guys. I'll go back this week for early voting, likely first thing tomorrow morning.

Re: Range time (or lack of)

Dry fire for sure! Just because it gets boring doesn't mean it's not useful. When you get a chance, once or twice a year(?), take a minimal costing tactical class to get more ideas on what/how to practice by yourself at the range. The indoor range I go to on the north side of Houston offers a $35 cl...

Re: Stand Alone ER's / Rip Offs or ...?

Be sure to check your co-pay and call your insurance and/or the facility to better anticipate any costs. The stand alone locations can be very pricey but as above, it may be worth it to avoid long wait times.

Re: 2A Interview with popular magazine

If guns kill people then all mine must be defective. We can all agree that government wastes money so I want a smaller government and less regulations. I want to be able to defend myself. If that means a giant que tip then I want one of those. If bad guys use guns I want one of those. I'd love to ta...
