They are most commonly refered to as Class III ,which actually is the type of stamp a FFL dealer needs to sell NFA items..Kind like calling an adjustable wrench a cresent wrench..People familiar with tools will know what your talking about..Same with gun people

i have used it before. some people dont even pay attention to what it really is.. to them its just another ID. some people will comp your cover charge at certain bars .

Did you have to do anything to make sure your license stayed valid during those 40 days?

as i recall...(this may be wrong). if you do not live at the adress shown on your CHL it is "not valid". also, if the adress on your CHL and DL are different; your CHL is "not valid".

This thread is a little bit scary, I had no idea that BOTH LEO's and CHL holders did so little practice!

ok, so i called them this morning. the guy (i dont remember his name) said it was mailed out on July the 23. i still have not recieved it.

6/29/06 => 7/23/06 = 25 days to process. and so far its been "in the mail" for 12 days.

i recieved this from Phil the other day. this is a "competative" shooting class. the reason i quoted competative is because you can use everything taught in Bruces class for self defense fundamentals aswell. i know i have seen it. the class is very intese detailed basics.
