CDP series are really nice, and in some ways txinvestigator is correct, it depends on what you're looking for. If you want the melt job, which smooths out the sharp edges of the pistol; an ambi safety, which can be added on the basic UC; night sites; etc., then the CDP is what you want. I ...

Yeah, I bought my wife a Kimber Ultra Carry II for her BD too. Finally getting a chance to get her to the range to shoot it. She shot an CDP UC that our friend has. Put 4 of the 7 rounds in the 10 ring at about 8 yards. I can't wait to hit the range today.
