Re: glock sights
I put Trijicons on my G26 almost 8 years ago, and they are still glowing brightly. I was lucky and got a contrasting green rear/yellow front set, and really do think that this is the way to go. With both sights being the same color, it take a little more time lining up a shot in low light.

Re: Traffic Stop Backup
My thoughts on this are as follows:
Althought YOU know your intent is legitimate in assisting the officer in distress, he/she at the time (understandably) may view you as an additional threat, especially if you approach the situation from behind, or the officer doesn't see you approaching. I'd ...

How can these UAVs prove that YOU were the one driving the vehicle? Obviously an officer can because you present them with a driver's license when you're stopped. Seems all these UAVs can prove is that your vehicle was photographed/recorded/identified breaking traffic laws. Could the statement "It ...

The range I currently frequent is also isolated and seldom visited. The gun shop part of it is also closed during the early part of the week, which sometimes means when I'm there I am often there alone, or with only a couple of other shooters. Here's my drill. When I show up, I get out of my vehicle ...

No, I've got a family
And i've been the fortunate recipient of the majority of my grandfather's large collection after his passing. I worked at a big-box outdoors-type retailer for a few years, so I got some awesome deals on most of my arms.

Have a Nova as one of my backup shotguns, you know the one I give MY BIL when we go duck hunting. I just know he's gonna drop it in the mud, or somehow find a way to bang, bump or dent it. No worries for me, it's like that Energizer bunny, it keeps going and going..... The Nova'll do you right, and ...

Maybe I could stand out in the parking lot and get first shot at some of the nicer guns...I could offer cash, of course. I once heard a story about a sawed-off Krieghoff showing up at one of these gun buybacks. Obviously the punk that had no idea about what that shotgun was worth before he took a ...

Oh, to be a young teenager again wearing skin-tight Wranglers! A Kel-Tec P3AT drops nicely inside a pair of my jeans, or a pair of Dockers and similiar type pants. I have a pair of loose-fit jeans I can stow my G26 in without printing, but obviously weigh the pants down somewhat. A airweight S&W ...

Hello everyone
I live in the Hill Country, and got my CHL about 5 months ago. I'm early 30s, work in the healthcare field. My daily carry gun is my G26, but i'm constantly adding new firearms. In addition to my 5 dozen plus rifles I own: G17, G19, G20, G21, G22, G34, G36, H&K P7M8 & USP .45(V3), Sig 220 TB & 226 ...
