Re: Switching to wheel guns this year

Spent today dry firing and trying out a possible way to carry moon clips outside of competition: a speedloader/moonclip holder from Simply Rugged holsters. These concealed easily under my usual attire of an untucked collared shirt, and I was able to reload quicker than with how I had been carrying ...

Re: I gave leather iwb a shot....

I’m about to order this one for the S&W TRR8 I’m getting tomorrow: https://www.galcogunleather.com/phoenix-belt-holster_8_4_1090.html I've been eyeing that one for months for my Couger - but it'll have to wait as this new house has been expensive. I forget that this isn’t your first house. I rememb...

Re: I gave leather iwb a shot....

The only way I can stand to carry IWB at all is appendix carry, and for that I do use a kydex taco with a belt clip. I have two, in two different sizes, but essentially the same thing. One was made by my son, the other by CYA holsters. I’ve posted pictures on these pages of both of them before. I pr...

This is the first time I’ve seen this thread. I just downloaded it as I was looking for something to read. I’m somewhat of a history buff too, so I’m looking forward to it.

Re: Blocking Spam Email

Well somehow the evildooing spammers are hitting me daily, multiple times. I am trying to block them by creating a rule in Outlook. Their typical email address is: reply@ Fei1xrahtik .date The part I put in bold italics changes with each email. I tried to create the rule saying block or delete repl...

A thorough investigation may reveal that the bullets did not come from the gun range.

Re: What Happened Today? (Site down)

I'm not sure what happened, but they rebooted the server and that fixed the problem. Chas. Did they unplug it, count to 60, and plug it back in first? Always step one. Even when I tell the tech I have already done it. I see you know my tech guy. I run a phbBb board, and un...

Re: Switching to wheel guns this year

I own a N-frame .44, which I like a lot, but is just too heavy for all day carry. Plus I’m afraid of setting my whiskers on fire if I ever have to use it for realz. With a 5” barrel, the fireball is pretty impressive. I also own a couple of J-frame .357s - a S&W 640, and a 340M&P. Of those two, the ...
