Are we supposed to respond here, or in your first thread? https://texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=136&t=97809  Here, there, where ever you like! This is the last one for awhile (although there are some other NC captures) but I have to go paint a mailbox while there is Sun light to be had...

I might watch the movie if it's more about racing than drama. (can someone confirm, please?)

And will I need yet another swear jar? I already have two (one of them overflowing).

How do you not have a row of 5 or 6 swear jars for movie firearms inaccuracies?

No OC - I was wearing a jacket and tie, but I carried a full-size 1911 plus spare on my belt under the jacket.
Hard to draw a more American image than packing heat at your swearing in ceremony. :patriot:

Re: I won a contest!

Looks cool. I’m kind of a lame builder of AR-15s...this appears chrome plated which indicates quality in my understanding. I understand the BCG, barrel and upper overall are the key components. So are you going to make this one a SBR? I know it’s outrageously expensive, but maybe get a registered l...

I won a contest!

https://twitter.com/lantac/status/1196224682648887296?s=21 That’s the first time I’ve ever won any kind of contest, and the prize is a $290 fancy-pants BCG from Lantac! The timing couldn’t be more perfect. I just finished building another AR carbine, and the BCG I scavenged from another upper didn’t...

Re: Pistol Caliber Carbine Roundup

Fun, fun, fun! A good PCC will put a smile on any new shooter's face. No recoil to speak of, easy ergonomics on the good ones, great accuracy without a lot of effort, and you can't argue with the cost to shoot. Sub 2000 is an interesting gun, but it's not one I'd personally want to put a lot of rou...

I started watching it and it's very interesting. Most all of it was before my time so the history lesson is very cool.
It gives you an appreciation for just how far things have come.

Re: Well that took long enough. Geez

That's why some of us prefer to build our own - well, for now. Congrats on finally getting your stamp. Do form 1s for manufacture of NFA items take less time than Form 4s? Yes. I don’t know how long it’s taking right now, but I’d be surprised if it was more than a couple of months. Last I heard, it...

Re: Why Can't We Return To How Peaceful The World Was Before Guns?

Babylon Bee is great. I think they maybe conservative as I don't see my liberal friends posting links to their stories. That or Liberals provide a better source for satire. When Snopes declared war on the Babylon Bee a few months ago, that should have been the clue to any doubters that the BB is ex...

Re: Movie - Ford vs Ferrari

There’s a really good documentary on Netflix about the rivalry: https://www.netflix.com/title/80158800?s=i&trkid=254015180 I didn't realize it was on Netflix when I made my above post with the link. You saved me $2.99. :thumbs2: Glad to help! I didn't realize we were taking about the same documenta...

Re: Pistol Caliber Carbine Roundup

I honesty don't know why people waste their time and money on PCCs. Unless your range forbids shooting 5.56 Carbines (many indoor ranges allow them now), there is no advantage to them when a 5.56 with about three times the effective range is the same size as a PCC. Just my .02, LeonCarr My primary ...
