Chas.
It's not a matter of if we take them as gospel or if they are true or not. They do damage from a public perception perspective. Rather than getting upset and responding to those of us on the same side of the issue as the NRA, maybe it would be good to respond to those that want and do believe those letters. Also, it's not just the letters that people are seeing or hearing. Did you watch Fox News a few minutes ago?

Does no good to lash out at us. It would be nice to see the NRA respond with some credible, believable and forthcoming responses. I suspect just saying all is well with the mother ship is not going be sufficient to squelch turmoil.
Publishing unauthenticated attacks on the NRA, or anyone else for that matter, is irresponsible. That's what you did and now you are offended by my response. Don't expect to me to respond to complete garbage by proving a negative.

Chas.
I didn't publish anything. How about you show me what you were talking about? And then maybe we can have a civil discussion about it.
Okay, here goes:

How to sell a massacre: NRA's playbook, revealed
Three-year undercover sting reveals how US's National Rifle Association handles public opinion after deadly gun attacks.
The NRA's playbook on mass shootings came to light during the course of a three-year undercover sting by Al Jazeera's Investigative Unit. Rodger Muller, an Australian undercover reporter who infiltrated the gun lobbies in the US and Australia, used a hidden camera to record a series of meetings between representatives of the NRA and One Nation in Washington, DC in September last year.
Then this one:

OUCH!!! That's gonna leave a mark.

Apparently the crosshairs are from inside and outside the NRA. Glad Al Jazeera didn't uncover anything damaging since the NRA insiders appear to be doing enough via the infighting.

Re: NRA in the crosshairs

I'm on the Finance Committee and I'm Chairman of the Audit Committee. The bogus claims, but I cannot and will not discuss it further in an open forum. You can believe me or not, but no one is going to use the Forum to slander the NRA.

From what I saw, nothing seemed that damming. What do you think?

I'm sure that won't stop the left from spinning it.
There is nothing damming at all. They try to twist what they have "secretly" recorded. It is liberal propaganda as usual. There are those who hate President Trump more than they love our Country. No doubt that Al Jazerra hates America. Thank you for posting the link.
Did they ever claim an interview to have been with any NRA personnel?

Re: NRA in the crosshairs

I don't know if I'll be able to stomach 48 minutes of Al Jazerra tripe, but I'll try later . . . much later. I did watch about 10 minutes, then skipped forward several times trying to see an interview with NRA personnel. I didn't see any.
