Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

What could possibly go wrong with voting by mail? Democrat Michigan Secretary of State Misprints Trump Ticket on Ballots for Troops Jocelyn Benson, who has endorsed President Trump’s rival, Joe Biden, and spoke at the recent Democratic National Convention (DNC), made the apparent error. The ballot ...

Re: Computer networking help needed

Here is my contribution of a sample configuration. I split your network, 192.168.73.0/24 into two networks, 192.168.73.0/25 and 192.168.73.128/25. The subnet mask is 255.255.255.128. Each of the internal hosts, of any type, must have an IP address from within its own network. You must assign the IP ...

Re: Computer networking help needed

I concur with parabelum that you cannot use a subnet mask of 255.255.255.255. If you could post a sketch of the network with IP addresses, I might get a better handle on your configuration.

Another thing to think about. Do you have VLAN's configured? Improperly configured VLAN's can be difficult to trouble shoot.

Re: Computer networking help needed

I do not know about your repeaters. I cannot comment on whether or not they are interfering with the VPN function. I can offer an explanation about IP addresses. The relationship between IP address and subnet mask can be confusing. An IP address is a string of 32 bits. The dots are for human consump...

Re: Computer networking help needed

I have set up a number of VPN's, although not with Linux. My experience is with Check Point. That said, the principles are the same. You have two devices (gateways) connected to the Internet at different locations, each with its own static IP address. I am going to make some assumptions at this poin...

Re: .357 Mag Powder

I was just testing .357 mag loads this past weekend. I had some accurate #9 sitting on the shelf and I wanted to use it up. I had plenty of odd brass and some Winchester magnum primers. I used the starting load, 11.2 grains under a Hornady 158 gr LSWC, according to loading data: http://www.accuratep...

Re: Real Issue or Sales Pitch?

I had an extractor failure once in a Glock 23. I am convinced it was ammunition induced.

I was at an indoor range shooting their reman ammo. One round blew out the extractor. The gunsmith on site put it back together. The gun ran fine with factory ammo.

I wonder if Sgt. Tracy Hicks understands that businesses posting 30.06 signs are providing guns for the taking left behind in parked cars.

Re: Ethanol free

Wish we could get it in the Killeen/Ft Hood area. When I have used it in my Silverado, works great and gets better mileage than E-10 . Plenty of places have E-85, but no Ethanol Free. Tried the E-85 in my old Ford Ranger which was rated for "Flex" fuel. Mileage was about 25% less than E-10, not a g...
