Motorcycle Trip: Texas to Georgia. Any Open Carry?
I will be riding out to Atlanta shortly, by way of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia (obviously). I see that my TX CHL is honored all the way through, and have found some restrictions on restaurant carry along the way (although it seems that might be outdated info), but am unclear on any ...

Re: 30.06 Lookup iPhone Application - Testers Needed
I am sure this is an insane question, but bear with me as I am strictly a Mac / iPhone junkie. Do smartphones have a standard web browser or are you limited to just specially designed text based web sites like my old RAZR was? I guess a simpler question would be, can you look at texas3006.com from ...

Re: 30.06 Lookup iPhone Application - Testers Needed
Yeah, I can see that. IPhones really are great for things like this. Easy in, easy out. If people were really good about using it every place they went on a daily basis, that database would fill up quickly!
I obviously haven't used it, but do you have a way to do a search when they arrive at a ...

Re: 30.06 Lookup iPhone Application - Testers Needed
AHH! I didn't realize it was a web-based application. I thought this was a phone application used to poll the database via the internet.
This may just be more simple then. If it is mobile-friendly, any device should be able to use it (I think).
Yeah, I just wanted to throw that out there before ...

Re: 30.06 Lookup iPhone Application - Testers Needed
Well I do have the SDK from Apple for the upcoming (actual(non-web-based)) applications, but I think I am going to stick to web based for now. I could very easily remove the iphone redirect so any web browser could access the site in the future. Plus this will also keep those iPod Touch users, and ...

Re: Utah CFP Class in Austin Area
I'm definitely interested but will have do a "wait and see" until you get the date pinned down.
ROT Is this month (June 11-15) and... well... I think I would be breaking some law by missing a day.

30.06 Lookup iPhone Application - Testers Needed
Hello everyone -
If you are reading this, I'm sure you are familiar with the extremely helpful texas3006.com web site. I decided last week to build a kind of companion web application for Apple iPhone users - which is now ready for beta testing.

Re: Feb. 26, 2008 & Waiting
Wow, I feel for you man. If you look at the time line in my signature, I was actually a couple days behind you and I have my plastic in hand after 78 days. The only thing that might have made a difference that I can think of is that I hand delivered the paperwork to the Austin office and watched ...

Re: Tent For Sale Cheap!!!!!!!
Well, the plastic just arrived! I believe it was 78 days or so from dropping off the application at their office to getting my plastic. All that fretting was for nothing I guess. It is such a glorious day that I think I will load up and take the scooter out for a little joy ride!
