According to the new standard of if a woman makes an accusation the man is guilty. Lock him up.
Yep, this is the one exception to the rule that one is innocent until proven guilty. Personally, I think false accusers should be locked up.

I am wondering if the murdered teen had previous gang involvement. Some of these street gangs are absolutely a menace.

priusron states it like I believe. There are times when one might draw and not fire their weapon. Personally, I really have no desire to go through the legal hassle of a shoot if I can avoid it.
Words of wisdom indeed!

Re: Interesting bill regarding guns made in Texas

Another one. http://twitter.com/chucklindell/status/1062034572311977984 Another gun bill by @RepMattKrause, HB 238, would bar state agencies, local governments from helping the feds enforce gun regulations in Texas. Exempted: border security operations. #txlege I have mixed feelings on this one. On...

Soccerdad1995, You and I most often agree and your point also applies to eating ice cream, donuts, cheeseburgers, smoking, long distance bike rides by me lonesome. Also not regularly exercising, etc. Not the safest choice in one life... High cholesterol and not exercising are not safe either. It's ...

Re: IL:Security Guard holding bar shooter on ground shot and killed by police by accident

There is always the civil suit lurking in the background. Not for the killer. Maybe for innocent taxpayers but not for the killer. Nope! The SG's family is going to sue the city, the shooter and everybody standing around making movies with their smartphones. Wouldn't yours? Granted, the city may be...

As bad as that is and I hate to say it, but that officer will probably not be held legally responsible for killing an innocent person. Who knows what's going on in his head now?

Re: Alcohol and self defense

In real life practicality. Would you appear intoxicated to the responding officers? You have the right to remain silent. If you have just a slight buzz from one or two drinks and it's a good shoot the issue might never come up. If you're staggering, have slurred speech or reek of alcohol. Your like...

I dunno', but I'm sure your definition of "slightly intoxicated" would come into question at some point. :leaving

Exactly! People who have yet to finish high school, never had a job or any other familial responsibilities and otherwise, don't know Snit from Shinola are allowed to vote. Absolutely. I think lowering the voting age to 18 was a huge mistake. Needs to be 25. Maybe, but I remember being 19 facing the...

There's something about Kalifornia that just ain't right? Something in the air, the water and/or the soil that just ain't right. Whatever it is, it affects the mindset of the residents.

Please, let's not Kalifornia Texas!
