The blueing is coming off. The entire line of sig 550-556 do the same thing I found out, unfortunately after my purchase. I even was in contact with Sig about it, they do not cover it under warranty.

My only advice is to be able to not work out, eat, and not gain weight. Once you have figured out where you need to be to "mantain", you can more easily be mentally aware of the diet you need to lose weight.
