Re: Man carrying assault weapon attends Obama protest

I think the issue with open carrying a long rifle in Texas is disorderly conduct, which is subjective. The consideration would be why are you carrying the long rifle?

Texas Penal Code 42.01 Disorderly Conduct. (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly (8) displays a firearm ...

Re: Your 401(k) Belongs to the Government

Man...this is scary...even more so considering who our next president will be. The sheeple need to wake up and smell the socialism.

Capitalism and free markets work if everyone will leave it alone.

No crap. What goes up must come down at some point. This government reminds me of parents who ...

Re: WHAT REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH REALLY LOOKS LIKE

The flaw in your argument is that you used the word "deserve". How did the homeless guy on the street who was doing nothing but holding a sign deserve the $10 more than the waiter who worked for it?

Re: Are There Any Documentd Instances or...

Zach.....

At the winery where I work, I am generally the only person around if someone asks for a tasting. The way the seating arrangement is set up I have noticed a few people carrying in the building. Our business is very pro-carry, and if we are alone I will let them know they are printing ...

Re: Air travel with firearm

Nice. I'm flying to Atlanta for a quick business trip next week. So can I just unload my gun, put it in the stock case, put a lock on it, and then carry some ammo in it's original box? If it's that easy I may just take my firearm and carry in GA instead of leaving the gun at home.

Re: Anyone quit drinking since getting CHL?

I went to a wedding last night and knew before hand I was going to be drinking (I was planning on getting a little buzzed). Therefore, I carried but after getting to the wedding I left the gun in the glove compartment (and since my wife is pregnant she was the designated driver).

Re: Soccer mom loses PA permit

^^ I was just stating my opinion. I agree the sheriff is ignorant, and don't understand why someone would take away a concealed carry license because they legally open-carried. I don't think the lady did anything wrong I was just stating my opinion that if I was allowed to open-carry I wouldn't do ...

Re: Soccer mom loses PA permit

That is dumb. But if I was her I would have concealed instead of open-carry as I'd hate for someone to know I had a gun and be able to grab it or make me their first target.

Re: Business Attire Holsters

What's wrong with the Smartcarry? I'm in the same boat as you, I wear slacks during the day and my Supertuck doesn't work well with dress pants. I was pocket carrying until I got the Smartcarry, which is comfortable enough and nobody notices I'm carrying. I still prefer the Supertuck, but when ...

Re: Dallas officer shot a man in self defence

Well, for one I think a CCL holder would get less flack because they aren't a police officer and don't carry a taser. I don't understand why people think an unarmed person can't hurt anyone (anybody ever seen a UFC fight?). Hopefully the incident was caught on video so that there is proof as to why ...
