No More Waiting
As of this morning, I checked my status online and it said Aplication complete! Now all I have to do is wait for the plastic.

I called DPS yesterday just because I'm impatient, and they said "everything looks good". They told me they are waiting on the background checks which they said could take a couple weeks. Almost there. "The Computerdude" gave me some hope. Our timeline is running about the same.
