I called and spoke to some vice president in USAA. He was extremely nice and really wanted to address my concerns. I was impressed that I was able to get someone that high up to call me.

I was not able to change their minds but was still a good conversation. If enough of us call them, maybe next ...

1. The people are responsible for knowing the laws. They should read the particular laws themselves and not take what ANY instructor says.

2. Talk to him and help him if he wants, otherwise butt out :).

No, he did not know I was a CRNA. Although my insurance papers have Dr. on them(not medical doctor), he did not ask for them.

Your daughter is entering a great profession. Is she in a doctorate program or masters? As of 2015, a DNP will be required for entry level CRNA.

I was stopped for doing 64 in a 55. My bad, I really thought it was 65.
Anyway, the dps trooper was great. Just glanced at my permit, asked where my weapon was and gave me a warning.

I always try to give them extra TLC when they or there families come in for surg or if I see them in the ER ...

I received the picture folder back to sign on Dec 8th. It had been mailed on Dec 6th. So apparently someone held it and did not mail it for two weeks. This seems to be fairly common. The same thing happend with the paperwork after I applied online. It did not come and finally after I called ...

I made the mistake of filling out the online app. It took them exactly three weeks to finally get the paperwork I needed to send in. I called after two weeks of not receiving it. I then call again, four days later and was told another would be sent out. I then get two in the mail three days later ...

They received my app on Nov 2 at 0745 yet today Nov 14 1400 it still shows "Packet mailed to applicant". I called and they told me it takes up to 4 weeks to get it into the system? This just does not sound correct.

Any help appreciated.
