Assam grew more intensely religious within the last year, said Bevere, who hired her at Messenger International in Colorado Springs.

On another list, it is being argued that what Jeanne Assam did is not relevent to concealed carry, claiming that she is a commissioned security officer.

That doesn't hold water, even if true.

I have tried googling and was unable to find any mention of her profession or whether she holds a security commission.

With her background and her displayed skills, security would seem a natural so this may be true.

Reports calling her a volunteer security officer and licensed to carry a concealed handgun are plentiful.

Has anyone read anything from any 'reliable' sources that addresses her vocation or whether she also holds a security commission?
