Re: AG Opinion Request RQ-0343-KP Legality of Emergency Orders

I have a feeling that all of these orders/requests will be determined to be constitutional because religious organizations and gun related businesses are not being singled out. It is a blanket sort of decree.

Re: CA: Engineer tries to sink USNS Mercy with train

I find it odd that he couldn't just look at the distances and obstacles involved and not know he'd never get that locomotive near that ship! Not a very good engineer, I guess. Or the fact that he's a "choo-choo kinda engineer", not "slide-rule kinda engineer". Big difference. I knew someone would c...

Re: Costco prohibit carry - No signs posted

For those of you who are saying the policy is irrelevant to an LTC, I would like to point out a very important distinction. Their warning in the policy book does not meet the legal requirement for notice. This means you cannot be criminally charged for carrying there. It does not mean you are allow...

Re: No place but Venezuela

The text is worth saving on here, that was great: The RCGS Resolute The Guaicamacuto-class warship GC-23 Naiguata is 80 meters long, with 1500 tons of displacement, making it about two-thirds the length of Resolute and about one-fifth her weight, but civilian vessels are not really designed to take...

Two days later and if I hadn't been browsing here after a long day at work, three brats with sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard and two beers, I wouldn't have ever heard about this story.

Re: Another New One from Ruger

Maybe I've just gotten too used to my .45 Glocks. A friend once told me it must be what looking down the flight deck of an aircraft carrier looks like. I thought that was pretty funny and since I worked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier I thought about it a second or two and laughed in agree...

Wipe it, leave it damp, and that time it takes to dry up increases the exposure time to whatever and works REALLY good for all but the hardiest of stuff that can only be killed by an autoclave or incine...
