I went to the fair this year. I rode TRE and then DART. I was carrying. I wasn't aware of any fair regulations re: CHL.
I wasn't wanded even though I had a $2000 camera and a waist belt full of batteries, etc.

p.s. I shot a bunch of people while I was there.... "rlol"

Thanks to Dallas Handgun Academy for the paper work and class.
Thanks to Tarrant County for returning the security check promptly.

Gulf Coast counties are still taking forever to get security checks done.

I counted 99 calendar days since mailing the application and receiving the plastic.

Congratulations to the new license holders, although we don't have the plastic yet.

I hate to contradict anyone but, My status went from " processing application" to "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" over night Monday night. I have been checking the status twice a day everyday.
Monday night it was "processing application" and Tuesday it was "Application ...

I live and work in Tarrant County (Ft. Worth).

I'm going to have to add the "Wally Walk" to my checklist.

I'm sure glad nothing happened while I was away because I didn't have the capability to check the site twice a day like I do from home.

I have been monitoring some of the April submissions reports and it seems that a few of them are getting their Licenses now.
I also think that a lot of people aren't updating their status once they get their licenses because they aren't looking any more.
There's hope, but it looks like it is taking ...
