Re: Woman killed by FT Worth PD officer

According to the linked article below it was not dispatched as a wellness call but as an open structure. I read about this on Twitter today from Amy Swearer, a Senior Legal Policy Analyst at Heritage Foundation. She correctly points out that he still violated department policies on use of force and ...

It does matter: Texas Constitution Article 16, Section 41: Sec. 41. BRIBERY AND SOLICITATION OR ACCEPTANCE OF BRIBES. Any person who shall, directly or indirectly, offer, give, or promise, any money or thing of value, testimonial, privilege or personal advantage, to any executive or judicial officer...

Re: Dicks destroys $5 million worth of weapons

If I was a stock holder, I would file suit. To purposely destroy valuable legal merchandise that will cost investors money to recoup has to be some breach of fiduciary and financial responsibility.

Re: Colt Suspends Civilian AR-15 Manufacturing

This is fake news that the media and antis want to claim that they have scored a victory in our back yard. Colt had already announced that their LEO and military contracts were a priority and without trying to say it - that their civilian competitors were essentially outselling them. So they posted ...

Re: What were your political leanings at 18 years old?

I was 15 when Ronald Reagan ran for President in 1980. Since I couldn't vote I volunteered on his campaign in Killeen making phone calls and and miscellaneous other tasks. So when 18 I was already very conservative. I think a lot of that had to do with family, but also I read a lot for debate tourna...

Re: The Master Gun Control Plan

I have often wondered if part of the master gun control plan by the left is to allow the criminal use of guns to escalate so as to help manufacture a tipping point of crisis. Taking the "never let a crisis go to waste" to an all new level. Why aren't liberal cities and states aggressively prosecutin...

Anyone else going to the Expo this weekend? I'm taking vacation day tomorrow to attend both Friday and Saturday.
I would like to, if only to give them higher numbers of attendance. But my schedule i snot going to allow it.

Re: Not The Whole Book-But Should Be Enough

Reminds me of a murder case I was on over 20 years ago. We had one juror though not a SJW, was a young college student that was an emotional wreck. I was the jury foreman and had to walk through each of the possible charges starting backwards. She agreed that it wasn't involuntary or voluntary mansl...

Re: Ever looked down a gun barrel held in an angry hand?

It was around 1988 or 1989, I had just returned to Dallas in the middle of the night and was washing my friend's truck I had borrowed. I saw two guys walking towards me. I should have listened to my instincts and left, but I didn't. I was robbed of my money ($20.00) at gun point with a revolver and ...
