Days from packet received until ...

I hadnt check the DPS site in a couple days, but today I check my status and it has now been changed to "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active". shouldnt be long now!!!

Also, about to turn 22 in a few more days, and this CHL is the only thing I look forward to now.


There is also 25, when your insurance "should" go down.

i just got an email saying they are waiting on printing also.....status is still the same on their webpage.

Well, I hit day 150! I sent an email to DPS demanding (sort of) an answer to why it's taking so long. If I get an answer, I'll post it.

seems like there are alot of people that turned their paperwork in later than I did and they already have their plastic back. I have a government issued ID that required a extensive background check, you would think since that was done less than a year ago ...

dont think for one minute they wont tell you anything you will believe just to get you to hang the phone up.

I took the class with Geoelectro so whatever his count was, thats what mine is.........140+ in harris county

took the class on 2-7-09 and sent packet to DPS on 2-9-09. still havent received my license....over 140 days!!! I think you need to start a new catagory on your poll 120-150 and 150+........

I am at 142 days and counting with no written letter of denial or explination of delay. at this point it almost seems hopeless!
