Envelope with plastic arrived today!
Five months...four days.
To celebrate, I picked up a slightly used Glock 23 .40 and a Galco Triton IWB holster.

Re: June 2009 Applications
I can say this...now...
It's coming...soon.
I hear `ya, fellas. I turned my application in on June 1, had a fingerprint hiccup, and my license was issued right at the 1st of November. Still waiting on plastic, but for the most part, the wait is over.

Re: June 2009 Applications
OK...
So, I called a couple/few weeks ago and was told my license was being printed.
Online status says "Processing."
I called today, here's what's up:
"...manufacturing problems."
"...a lot of licenses are being reprinted."
Well...

Re: June 2009 Applications
Since my online status is "Processing Application" as it's been for months, I thought to myself today, "I haven't cried from feelings of helplessness in a while," so I called up to see if I could squeeze any more info from the CHL gods.
The nice phone rep said that my license was at the printers ...

Re: June 2009 Applications
Still waiting here.
I'm tempted to call, but I'm afraid that now they'd say:
"Sorry sir, but we didn't know quite how to tell you this. The dog ate your application."

Re: June 2009 Applications
I had the "fingerprint card two step and slide" ordeal myself. I probably lost 6 weeks of the process right there.
Oh well.
Same here...It sucks. That's all I can say. I'm glad others' applications are wrapping up and that their plastic is arriving, but deep down, I hate them...just a little ...

Re: June 2009 Applications
Just venting today... Still waiting. Online status never indicated that my fingerprints had been rejected, even though I got the big brown envelope.
Last update was a few weeks ago "waiting on FBI background check..."
Ugh.
So, fellas, should I just suck it up and wait, or should I make myself feel ...

Re: June 2009 Applications
I called today to see if my (new) prints had been received.
They have, and I was told that they were "waiting to hear back from the FBI on those."
So, I'm crossing my fingers here, and given that I've been a well-behaved little boy my entire life, hopefully this should wrap up soon.
We'll see ...

Re: June 2009 Applications
Well, I'm a little confused. As far as I know, FAST is the totally electronic capture and transmission of prints, right? No paper cards? OR is it just what I used...the electronic capture and printing method, but without finger inking?

Re: June 2009 Applications
Sooo... My online status still reads "Processing Application," but on Tuesday, I check the mail to find a large envelope from the CHL office.
"Oh crap..." I thought.
Yes, I got a letter that informed me that new fingerprints were needed. After a drive down to the local FAST/whoeverID place ...
